Athens Bagel Company is home to the only New York-style bagel bakery downtown.
The restaurant offers more than just great food and rad t-shirts; it’s got a great atmosphere, too. Built in a renovated 19th century building a short walk from campus, the restaurant features heart pine accents and reclaimed tin ceiling tiles. In entire space was renovated in 2011 to become the home of the bakery.
Athens Bagel Company bagels are true New York: kettle-boiled and fresh-baked, and served with homemade cream cheeses or as sandwiches. We love the “Classic City Croque” with shaved ham, swiss, and an over-easy egg on top, but we celebrate the entire catalog.
