Since 1977, the Athens Downtown Development Authority (known as Downtown Athens, or ADDA) has served as a liaison between the Athens Clarke County Government and the downtown business community. It is our mission to assist individual businesses and private investors, as well as to coordinate planning and implementation of public facility projects.
Though the ADDA plays an important role in keeping Athens strong, it is our passion for the city and its people that makes our job so great. The potential of a united Athens is infinite, and we are proud to help her grow and prosper.
