Networking Should Be Fun

A few years ago, our team at Perfect Pitch Concepts decided that most networking events just aren’t very much fun. They either charge you to attend, they’re full of people that just want to sell you something, or they’re composed of the same folks you see at every other event. That last one isn’t necessarily a bad thing, except when it’s given the particular designation of “networking,” and the promise of meeting lots of new people.

Since then, we’ve realized something very simple: a great networking event is just a great party. Our early parties in Athens, GA, put this philosophy to the test, and it turned out that we weren’t the only ones out there thinking that networking events shouldn’t feel like a chore to attend.

Our team goes out of our way to create events that bring in people from a variety of different fields. We think that’s one of the primary reasons our local networking parties seem to have so much energy. You never know if you’re going to be talking with a taxidermist, a surgeon, or a helicopter pilot!

Our events are free to attend, and as you can see from our media galleries, we make sure they don’t suck. We also usually have lots of photographers floating around, so everyone pretty much gets to feel like a celebrity!
